The Family Justice System is a network of organisations including family courts, the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS), the Child Support Agency, lawyers and also professionals from medicine, social work and therapy. This guide is to help families find their way around the system and access the services provided to deal with relationship breakdown and its consequences. It was written by members of the Family Justice Council for those wanting to use the system, and also includes information for children and young people.
